EXPO 2015 is approaching, but in Kazakhstan are getting ready for the 2017 edition, expected to become a milestone for interest, participation and investment in the history of the International Exhibition. EXPO 2017 will be held in Astana, between June 10 and September 10, 2017, on the theme Future Energy, focused on the relationship between energy and the environment, with particular reference to renewable energy and environmental sustainability. Although Kazakhstan is among the leading producers of raw materials worldwide, has demonstrated, since several years, great attention towards this fundamental aspect that involves all of mankind. In fact, Kazakhstan is a promoter ot the Atom project for denuclearization and support other initiatives that stimulate the debate, new ideas and investments in renewable energy and “clean” technologies . More than 100 countries and 6 international organizations are expected to attend EXPO 2017 on a 25 acres dedicated area. Massive investment has been allocated by the Government to carry out an edition spectacular that will become a model for amplifying the attention and the global debate on these issues. To promote Astana Expo 2017, Kazakhstan has participated, January 18 to 22, with a pavilion of 225 square meters at the International Summit on Future Energies of Abu Dhabi, receiving the visit, during the Opening Ceremony, of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al Nahyan, Prince of Abu Dhabi and supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates. Other initiatives and events will be developed to draw attention to the International Exhibition, from the photo contest Winter EXPO to a boat cruise that will bring the flag of EXPO 2017 in 20 Countries, including Italy, to meet representatives of International organizations. The first delegations of Countries attending Astana 2017 Expo are already planning inspection visits. The Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Naples is ready to provide information and assistance to those Companies and Entrepreneurs interested to exhibit or attend EXPO 2017.
